Otahuhu Recreational Centre incorporates a library, indoor swimming pool and outdoor recreation area. Long Curved Glulam beams from TimberLab give this building the airy open and natural look that makes it so impressive.
Early collaboration with the consultants helped to ensure the most cost effective options were achieved in this innovative building. With the zig-zag overlapping shaping of this facility, every beam was individually detailed with our 5 Axis CNC Gantry Bridge. This helps to eliminate the need for complex cutting and detailing on site.
The ability for TimberLab to provide accurate CNC detailing is a tremendously valuable aid for both designers and site installation.
